2.Do an analysis of your actual workload during the holidays. So many companies go with a traditional time off schedule of only closing the office the day of and day after the holiday. If your analysis shows low productivity during holiday weeks, close the office! Your teams will come back less stressed and excited for the New Year. This also reduces costs during unproductive times.
3.Write hand written personalized notes to your employee’s family about what a pleasure it is to work with them. Tip: mention a specific skill set “Your dad’s ability to spot trends is the BEST in the organization.”
